A free one-hour webinar for Crime Lab Directors.

Lean Management focuses on the removal of waste – any activity or by-product that is not necessary to deliver accurate and timely results. Properly applied, it can help lab managers and criminalists slash TAT and reduce backlog.
Lean is not a fad that requires your lab to go "all in." This webinar will discuss the Lean Management tools and techniques that are the best fit for the forensic lab and how to leverage Lean within a holistic performance improvement framework.
Webinar Outline
Your facilitator will be Robert Boehringer, the Executive Vice President of Process Management for Orion Development Group (Orion), and author of the Process Management Memory Jogger. A presentation will also be made by your colleague, Ron Blacklock. Ron is Deputy Director of the Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency. He will present on the results achieved at his lab by application of lean process improvement techniques.
Over the past several years, Orion Development Group, in partnership with the Midwest Forensics Resource Center, has facilitated process improvement at forensic labs across the country. We want to share our experience and show you the right approach to applying Lean in your lab!
